Proper Agile first. Then how to survive when the organisation drops governance, funding, reporting and stage gates on top of it.
Built for UK service leavers and career changers, side by side. No exam.
Work arrives two different ways, and it leaves two different ways. Most courses teach one. You will run both, on the same project.
The organisation has already run discovery and design the traditional way. A charter and an estimate land on the team, and inside that charter sits the business case: the justification and the return on investment. The backlog is born from those documents.
No project at all. A standing team with a Product Owner feeding scope straight in. Demand intake looks different in every organisation, so you learn to read both.
A clean goodbye. The finished work goes to whoever runs it from here, an operations team or a support contract. The final demo becomes the handover, and the team produces whatever documentation the organisation needs to take it on safely.
No goodbye at all. The team keeps the product, runs it and keeps improving it, sprint after sprint, until it is simply business as usual. You will make this exact call on your own project in Week 3.
Every Agile course teaches the textbook. Almost none teach what happens when a steering group wants a forecast and a finance director wants a number. That part is why this course exists.
Videos in your own time, around the day job. Then you turn up to the live lab with work in your hands, not questions in your head.
Anyone can say they know Agile. You will open a folder and show it.
Epics, features and user stories with acceptance criteria, written in plain business language rather than jargon.
How your team runs, decided and written by your team, and then actually enforced.
The one source of truth for the sprint. WIP limits, honest cards, and an audit trail that stands up.
A capacity plan and a burn rate a finance director would recognise and could sign off.
Translates what the team did into language the organisation understands: status, risks, money, benefits. This is the thing you show an employer.
Everything above, filed as evidence. The library of Sprint End Reports is your close-out story.
The mechanical work that used to eat whole days, done in minutes. What it never does is make the call.
The board is the source of truth. The evidence is the source of truth. Everything the AI produces gets checked by a human, and on this course that human is you.
If the AI wrote a story, you read it against the requirement before it goes near the backlog. If the AI drafted a report, you check every number against the board before anyone sees it.
No real names, no client data, no confidential documents. Everything on your course project is fictional so you can practise safely. In a real job this rule protects your career.
You are assessed on what you build, not what you memorised. There is nothing to revise and nothing sprung on you at the end.
The Agile Sprint is delivered by Digital Delivery Academy, an ILM Approved Centre. A formal certification route for this programme is in development with our awarding body and is not yet confirmed. We will not tell you it carries a qualification until it does. What you will have on the last day, guaranteed, is the portfolio, and that is what a hiring manager asks to see.
Service leavers and career changers train side by side. The rigour is the point. The background is not required.
What you have never had is the vocabulary, the artefacts and the evidence that a civilian delivery team recognises on sight. Three weeks closes that gap.
Scrum Master and delivery roles keep asking for experience nobody will give you. This is three weeks of doing the job, evidenced, so you have something to show.
One price, published, for everybody. No countdown games and no invented discounts.
The Agile Sprint always opens one week after the six-week Academy cohort in the same intake, so you can run them back to back.
The Individual Resettlement Training Costs grant and Standard Learning Credits can be used together, and Digital Delivery Academy needs no PSL or ELCAS listing for the IRTC route.
Subject to your SRA's approval, your remaining entitlement, and your eligibility. IRTC is normally used in the two years before you leave, so the course must be completed and your claim submitted before your discharge date. Your SRA will also expect you to have considered any equivalent CTP provision first. We give you the invoice and the full evidence pack. The claim itself is yours to make.
The first cohort starts Monday 9 November 2026 and finishes Friday 27 November 2026. After that: 11 January 2027, 26 April, 14 June, 6 September and 1 November, all Mondays. The Agile Sprint always opens one week after the six-week Academy cohort in the same intake, so the two can be run back to back.
Around six to eight hours: the videos, the task that comes out of each one, and the live lab in Weeks 1 and 3. It is built around a full-time job, so most people take two evenings and a bit of a weekend.
No. Week 1 starts with the ethos and your actual role, not with jargon. If you already work in an Agile or hybrid team, the value is different: it is the governance, reporting and close-out half that most practitioners have never been taught.
The Academy makes you the person who runs the project, and it carries the ILM Level 5. The Agile Sprint makes you the person who runs the team's delivery. If you can only do one and you have no delivery credential yet, do the Academy. If you already hold PRINCE2, APM PMQ or an ILM and what you are missing is the Agile practice, the Sprint is the faster answer.
No. You are assessed on a portfolio of six artefacts you build on a live project, marked against a published rubric, with written feedback on each one.
Not today. A certification route is in development with our awarding body and is not yet confirmed, and we will not claim it until it exists. What is guaranteed is the portfolio and the feedback. If a certification route is confirmed before your cohort runs, we will tell you what it is and what it costs before you commit to it.
Yes, and it is the strongest combination we offer. Both run on the same delivery scenario, so you finish able to say: here is the project run the traditional way, and here is the same project run as a sprint. Talk to us about doing them in order.
Planned it, run it, measured it, closed it, with an AI doing the mechanical work and you making every judgement call. That combination is exactly what delivery teams are hiring for.
First cohort starts Monday 9 November 2026 and runs to Friday 27 November. Not sure yet? Book a call and we will work it out together.
