Practical project management, delivered.

One real project you run under pressure, and a portfolio that answers “walk me through a project you've run.” Six weeks to an ILM Level 5, or three weeks of Agile.

You are leaving the Forces

The traditional project, and the agile sprint. We teach both.

You are not picking a side. You are picking which one you want to be able to run on Monday morning.

Traditional delivery

Still how most large organisations run

Business cases, stage gates, a plan that has to survive a board. Defence, energy, government, financial services and most corporate change portfolios are built this way, and they are not about to stop. It is the base layer of serious delivery and the skills travel everywhere.

Agile delivery

Growing fast, and making real waves

Standing teams, short sprints, something working every couple of weeks. More organisations move this way every year, and the good ones are hunting for people who can actually run it rather than just talk about it. Where it lands well it changes how fast a business can move.

Here is the honest bit. Most real organisations are somewhere in the middle, running agile teams inside traditional governance and getting caught between the two. That is exactly why we teach both, and why we teach what happens where they meet.
Traditional6 weeksThe Academy

Six weeks. One real project.

The full delivery lifecycle, end to end, on a live scenario.

Hold PRINCE2 or APM PMQ? This is the same delivery lifecycle those courses describe, run for real on a live project, with the evidence to prove you did it.
What you do

You take one project from a blank page to a live service and run every stage of it yourself. Each week you produce the documents a real delivery team produces, then defend the decisions behind them live, out loud, with a cohort watching.

What you do

You run a real sprint. Work arrives through one of two doors, you turn it into a backlog, plan it, build it, show it and learn from it, then close it out through one of two doors. Then the real world lands on top: governance, funding, reporting, stage gates.

What You'll Walk Out With

Six weeks. Six concrete deliverables.

You're not just earning a certificate. You're walking out with a portfolio of work, a credential, and the practical AI-powered confidence to step into a project management role and start delivering from day one — with AI embedded into your full working day to automate as much of the day-to-day as possible.

The Course

Six weeks inside a project.

You don't learn delivery from a textbook.

You learn it by being in the room — under pressure, making decisions, producing outputs that stand up to scrutiny. Digital Delivery Academy is that room.

A six-week simulation where you run a real project end-to-end, coached through the decisions that define a career.

The Programme

What the course delivers.

Designed around your 9-to-5. Each week, video lessons release on a steady pace — work through them on your own time, around the day job. You produce practical outputs from each lesson. Then you join live Decision Labs — 6 hours of real-pressure project scenarios across the programme with your cohort.

The Qualification

ILM Level 5 Certificate

Operational Leadership & Management Skills. The practitioner-grade credential employers actually point to.

Self-Paced

50+ online teaching videos

The course ends.
The Academy doesn't.

Delivery changes fast. Tools change faster. We're forward-leaning — constantly testing the new AI tools, working out which ones actually move the needle in delivery, and arming you with the best and most current practice as it lands.

Once you're in, you stay in the loop — current templates, working AI setups, weekly updates, a community of PMs who know what you're going through.

How we stand behind it.

Pass guarantee. If you complete the programme honestly and don't pass the ILM Level 5 portfolio first time, we'll coach you through your resit at no additional cost. The Academy is built to make you ready to deliver — not to leave you on the hook for a grade.

What "completing honestly" looks like — to qualify, you must:

  • Attend all six live Decision Labs — and actively participate
  • Complete all video lessons across the six weeks
  • Submit all output sheets and deliverables on time
  • Submit and action weekly feedback — show the changes

Your effort is part of the deal. The guarantee covers people who turn up and put the work in — not people who coast through and expect the outcome anyway.

Common Questions

Before you apply.

What's the time commitment per week?
Around 6 to 8 hours per week — split between video lessons you watch on your own time, the practical outputs you produce, and the live Decision Labs. Designed deliberately to fit around a full-time job. Most learners block out two evenings and a Saturday morning.
What if I miss a live Decision Lab?
The Decision Lab will be recorded — but recordings won't be sent out straight away. The live session is where the learning happens, so we want everyone there in the room. If you miss one, we'll work through it with you, but make every effort to show up live.
How does the ILM Level 5 certification actually work?
We're an ILM Approved Centre. You build a portfolio of practical artefacts across the six weeks (Charter, RAID, BRD, Stakeholder plan, Change Log, Closure Report — all the real PM outputs). At the end, your portfolio is internally assessed against ILM Level 5 criteria, then externally moderated. Successful candidates receive the ILM Level 5 Certificate in Operational Leadership & Management Skills — the same credential employers test for at senior PM/programme level.
Is the ILM Level 5 recognised by employers?
Yes. ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) is one of the UK's most established management credentialing bodies, awarded through City & Guilds. Level 5 is set at the equivalent of HND / foundation degree level on the UK regulated framework — recognised by employers across public sector, defence, professional services, and corporate delivery roles.
What if my circumstances change mid-programme?
Speak to us. Once the course starts, there are no refunds — but we will work with you to find the best solution we can. We've supported learners through redundancy, relocation, deployments, and family events. Most situations are workable through cohort transfer or a short break.
Will I be ready to walk into a project on day one after this?
That's exactly the point. You won't just hold a certificate — you'll have a portfolio of real PM artefacts you can show in interviews, hands-on AI-powered delivery you can use day one, and the pressure-tested experience of running a project end-to-end. If you complete the programme honestly, you'll walk into your next project management conversation as the person who's already done it.
